Some fan art for Diablo. Drew a sketch of this a long time ago during my addicted to Diablo III faze just got around to finishing it up. Trying to learn how to pick and choose what to detail and use better color combos with this one.
an example of "beauty and the beast" that's what I see in my eyes I just love how the demon hunter looked so nonchalant in this piece, it's like she's afraid of nothing, not even diablo himself, that's just badass, it's really great how you portray her character, just one awesome way to appreciate such character. Even though I love the atmosphere in here, however, I think the colours in this piece is a little bit too dark, the dull is fine because in such game art like this it isn't necessary to make it all sparkly and putting bright colours. I just think that you should need to play more with highlights, because sometimes when a drawing colours goes to dark, you just can't seem to see where it'll go, especially the movement involve that you wanna portray in an artwork. Another thing that bothers me a bit is her right crossbow, it seemed to be less-detailed than the other parts of the art though. Even though Diablo should look more badass than this, but you make it blend well that it somehow doesn't have to, because work like this needs both of the characters dominating one piece together. I think it would look more tense if you try a bigger perspective though, like showing the whole full of diablo, versus the small demon hunter but of course, nevertheless this piece is just stunning, keep up the good work and always keep practicing
